Let Steel and Freedom Ring

One shy of 20 shooters in two groups took turns hitting steel and paper.  Four unique stage challenged the competitors.  The longer final stage was shot twice, allowing competitors to revisit the targets and improve their times.  Eight shooters opted for pistol caliber carbines (PCC's) with the remaining 11 hamming steel with open sight handguns.  Stages ranged from a blistering 15.17 second run, won by overall pistol winner Rick to a run and gun stage with average times nearing a minute and a half.  

Stage #3 favored the PPC's with slightly more distance and multiple targets from single locations.  Overall PCC winner Ahmod beat out Eric, who was second place in the handgun division.  Four of the top six on this stage ran PCC's.  Ahmod and Rick spit identical stages #4 and #5 with Tim D. just missing a stage win by .08 seconds!
